James McDermott's poetry collections include 'Father Myself' (Nine Arches Press), 'Wild Life' (Nine Arches Press; longlisted for the New Angle Prize; shortlisted for the East Anglian Book Award), 'Erased' (Polari Press) and 'Manatomy' (Burning Eye Books; longlisted for Polari's First Book Prize). James's poems have been widely published in magazines and journals including Poetry Wales, Butcher's Dog, Magma, Fourteen Poems and Southword. James is an Arvon writing tutor and lecturer in creative writing at the University of East Anglia.

The workshop will start at 10.30 am and end at 1pm, with a break of half an hour.

Yes, water will be avaiable throughout the workshop, and tea, coffee, biscuits and maybe cake will be available during the break.
The workshop is aimed to inspire all that attend the workshop - whether you are a novice or an experienced poet.
If you're not a member you'll still be very welcome although you'll have to pay the slightly higher price of £26.
