A Day Out at the Seaside
Have a day out at the seaside
you can buy a stick of rock
Someone’s made a dirty protest
in the beachfront toilet block
Have a day out at the seaside
why not give the pier a try
Have a bellyful of lager
and throw up on all the rides
Have a day out at the seaside
let the waves lap at your feet
If you need a pee, go in the sea
it’s fine if you’re discreet
Have a day out at the seaside
you could have some candy floss
though the wind’ll whip it off the stick
and you’ll end up vexed and cross
Have a day out at the seaside
take your spade, and bucket too
Build a castle out of sand
syringes, condoms, and dog poo
Have a day out at the seaside
the architecture’s quite impressive
Deco balconies on the HMOs
but inside they’re quite depressing
Have a day out at the seaside
but don’t go in the sea
it’s full of turds, and dead sea birds
and looks a weird colour to me
Have a day out at the seaside
you could play beach volleyball
a sunburnt, bloated idiot
a hyperventilating fool
Have a day out at the seaside
you could have a donkey ride
but when the donkeys clock you
they all run away and hide
